CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ inhibits nitrification of nitrogen in the soil, reducing the loss of nitrogen by leaching and denitrification.
CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ does not contain a dye and is not recommended for use as a fertilizer substitute.
CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ is recommended for applications of urea and urea-containing fertilizers such as pre-plant, pre-emergence, side-dress, top-dress, broadcast, or other post-planting applications.
The benefits of CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ as a nitrification inhibitor are a result of its ability to impede and delay ammonium loss in the form of nitrates or nitrous oxide by runoff or denitrification.
USE RATES:
CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ with Urea:
3 to 4 quarts per ton
CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ with UAN:
2 to 3 quarts per ton
CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ with Anhydrous Ammonia:
5 to 7 quarts per ton or 22 to 32 ounces per acre when injecting at or near toolbar.
CORNBELT® NITROSTAY™ with Liquid Manure:
1 to 2 pints per acre when applied at the time of manure application.
